Adult Bible School - RCCG EFA

SUNDAY school is an essential and crucial component of the church. As the name implies, it is a school on Sunday where we learn, study and know more about God and dig deep into His purpose for our lives. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God” (Romans 10:17)

Our purpose is to strengthen individuals and families by encouraging them to study and obey the scriptures.

Our vision and Goal is to inspire a passion in the people for the word and to know God and to see lives changed. Our mandates are to help the people to see the application of the word in their own day-to-day lives and needs.

Also to instil gradually the habit of reading and studying the word of God daily and regularly. To see that the word connects us with the Lord, heaven and people on earth.

To teach the sound scriptural doctrine in the different stratum of life.

In the world we are today, it is obvious that majority of Christians are grossly engaged in their circular jobs or pursuant of education from Monday to Saturday to the extent that they hardly have time to study the word of God or attend bible study during the week. Hence the only available day for such engagement is Sunday. Therefore, regular Sunday school attendance should be an essential component of every Christian.

Let me mention some reasons why Sunday school attendance is crucial in the live of every serious and kingdom minded Christian ;

Sunday school improves your bible knowledge.

When you know and understand God’s word yourself, you are more likely to obey Him. The knowledge gained in Sunday school also helps you become more proficient in using God’s word. Sunday school assists your spiritual growth. Spiritual growth often occurs best in the context of small group bible discussion. That’s Sunday school.

Sunday school provides a “place to belong” in Sunday school class you are known, personally Recognised and transparency is more likely to occur. You can share needs and concerns from your life. As you participate in class discussion, you become part of the group.

Sunday school helps you build meaningful relationship. You meet people, learn their names, hear their stories and that might help in building your faith.

Sunday school is the best forum to seek for clarification and share your experience which you may not likely have the opportunity during church service or other programme.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”, 2 Timothy 2:15
