The Bible makes us know that the Almighty God is unfathomable and undiscoverable in full, neither is there any searching to His understanding (Psa. 145:3; 147: 5; Isaiah 40: 28; Rom. 11: 33; Phil. 3: 10). Yet, He gives us the privilege to know Him in parts and also to teach of Him in parts (I Cor. 13: 9-12).
Depending on what God wants to do in our lives, or with us, He usually reveals an aspect of His intention to us to boost our faith in Him as touching that area, and by so doing, He helps us to experience His intended outcome.
While dimension can be defined as ‘the length, width, height, or depth of something; or part of something; the scope; size; extent; magnitude; etc. The bible makes us know that there are dimensions of God regarding His attributes and characteristics. For example, the bible says we can enjoy the love of Christ in different dimensions (Eph. 3: 17-19). There are also different dimensions of God revealed to men as He relates to us at different times of our lives. Such that we can know Him in a certain way before, and then He reveals Himself to us in another dimension later on.
When God appeared to Moses in the wilderness and commissioned him to go and lead the Children of Israel from Egypt into the Promised Land of Canaan, Moses did not think it was an assignment he should go to as he knew the extent of Pharaoh’s power. One of the comforting words that God spoke to Moses was that the generations before him had only known God to be powerful (Almighty), they are yet to know Him as the Lord of all (Jehovah). God told Moses that He was about to demonstrate that dimension of His personality as ‘the Lord of all’ in freeing the Israelites (Ex. 6: 1-3). So it happened that God showed His sovereignty as the Lord over Pharaoh and all his hosts and released Israel as He had said (Ex. 14: 1-31).
God also mentioned a few dimensions of Himself to Moses in Ex. 34: 4-7, as they commenced their journey in the wilderness to the Promised Land. He revealed Himself as, “The Lord, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation”, so they could know how to relate to Him, as they journey along.
God told me that He will start demonstrating to us from the coming year 2022 certain dimensions and aspects of Him that we are yet to experience until now.
He said He has shown certain aspects of His goodness to us before, however, said novel dimensions of Him are to now commence from 2022.
God says, His aspects we have experienced and enjoyed so far will yet continue; in addition to those, novel dimensions of Him that will now begin.
As the Israelites were shocked as they stood at the banks of the Red Sea seeing the end of Pharaoh that had become a god in their lives (Ex. 14: 26-30), so God says He will also amaze us with His new dimensions in our lives henceforth.
God says the new dimensions of Him that will commence from 2022 will not only be far greater than what we have experienced before, but they will also have a lifetime positive impact upon our destinies.
