Prayer Department – Standing in the Gap
At RCCG Everlasting Father’s Assembly, Leeds, we firmly believe that prayer is the lifeline of the church. It is how we partner with God to see His will done on earth as it is in heaven. Our vibrant Prayer Department plays a central role in fuelling the spiritual life of the church through consistent intercession, warfare prayers, thanksgiving, and prophetic declarations.

Our Mandate
The Prayer Department exists to stand in the gap for the church, the leadership, the members, the city of Leeds, and the nations of the world. Our mission is to lift up holy hands in intercession and spiritual warfare so that God’s purposes are fulfilled in every area of our lives and ministry.
We are committed to:
- Praying regularly for the church and its leadership
- Interceding for the needs of individual members and families
- Handling all submitted prayer requests with confidentiality and care
- Raising up a prayerful generation through teaching and mentoring
- Supporting all church events with intercessory covering

When We Meet
The Prayer Group meets regularly for strategic prayer sessions, both in person and online, creating opportunities for members to grow in their prayer life and spiritual sensitivity. These gatherings are filled with passionate worship, Bible-based declarations, and Spirit-led intercession.
Whether it’s early morning prayers, midweek vigils, or pre-service intercession, we are intentional about maintaining an atmosphere of prayer in all that we do.

Prayer Requests
We treat every prayer request submitted to the church with urgency, faith, and compassion. Whether it’s a health concern, family issue, career challenge, or spiritual need, our intercessors lift every request before God with faith, trusting Him to intervene.
If you have a prayer request, simply fill out the Contact Us form or submit it in church, and it will be confidentially handled by our prayer warriors.

Join the Prayer Department
Do you feel a burden to pray? Are you passionate about interceding for others? Are you seeking to grow deeper in your spiritual walk? Then the Prayer Department may be the ministry for you.
We are looking for dedicated men and women who:
- Are committed to a lifestyle of prayer and holiness
- Are spiritually disciplined and available for regular meetings
- Are willing to grow in intercession, spiritual warfare, and prophetic prayer
- Have completed or are willing to complete the RCCG Workers-in-Training Programme
