May the God of All Grace Show Up For You, by Pastor (Mrs) Anthonia Obafaiye

One of the meanings of grace from the Oxford English Dictionary is ‘Unearned favour especially from God. Grace is (un-merited mercy) bestowed on someone, not because of what they have done but because it pleased God as it were to bestow it upon that person.

No situation is Hopeless with God, with Him all things are possible, if only we believe in Him. He is the Hope of Glory.

The month of May 2015 has been declared a month of ‘Excelling in Multiple Grace by the Prophet of God as inspired by the Holy Spirit. May is the fifth month in the year and the number 5 stands for grace. Our Father in heaven has declared it a month of multiple grace for us, and so shall it be in Jesus name.

Brethren I always get excited when I hear God speak, why?, because He is not a man that He should lie, it also assures us that as a Wonderful Father that He is, He has a wonderful desire in his heart for us, when He spoke this very words. May His will be done in our lives in Jesus name.

Salvation is a good example of the grace of God towards mankind. The Bible says in Titus 2:11 ‘For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men. Yet again Ephesians 2:8-9 says ‘ For by grace are ye saved through faith and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, Not by works lest any man should boast’.

1 Peter 5:10 says ‘But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablished, strengthen and settle you.

They say in the world no pain, no gain. Walking with and working for God requires sacrifice. It comes with availability and total Commitment. It also comes with a reward, He said in His word that He has not called the house of Jacob to seek and serve Him in vain.

I declare to somebody here today, May the God of all grace appear unto you, May He make you perfect, May He establish you, May He strengthen and settle you in Jesus name.

May the grace of God never let you fall in Jesus name. May His grace be sufficient for you.

I hope we know that there are different kinds of grace and that we can grow in the grace of God.

1Peter 5:10 assures us that as children of God we are complete in Him and we will not lack anything good that comes from Him in Jesus name.

The Book of Acts 1:7 says ‘And he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which The Father hath put in his own powers’.

Brethren just like all of us sat here today, Moses did not choose the time he was born neither did his parents. In Exodus 2:1-10, we can see in this story that God has a purpose and plan for every child. It pleased God to bring him into this world at the time he was born, because his birth was an answer to the prayers and the cries of the children of Israel to God. They wanted deliverance, and Moses was born for that assignment as a Deliverer of the people of God.

But the Bible says in John 10:10 ‘ the thief cometh only but to kill, to steal and to destroy’, so because he knew that a deliverer was going to be born, he entered the heart of Pharaoh the King of Egypt and he ordered that all male children born to the children of Israel should be thrown into the River Nile, why because he found out that the Israelites were increasing in number and soon they were going to out-number them.

But the case of Moses was different because when his Mother had him the bible says ‘she saw that he was a goodly child, there was something about him, he was different, he had a glorious destiny, the grace of God was upon his life. His mother hid him for 3 months, (I still wonder how she hid him for 3 months, if not for the grace of God, has anyone thought of how Jesus as a baby was smuggled out of Jerusalem to Egypt without the Custom Officers finding out, because Herod at that time had also ordered new born babies to be killed because he heard that a King had been born, the grace of God) when she could not hid him no more she decided to release him to his Creator and let Him have His way in the life of Moses.

Brethren everything we have, we have because heaven released it to us, John 3:27 without God we can’t do anything. Jochebed released her son in faith,( Hebrews 11:23) believing that God who gave him as a gift to them would preserve him, how God was going to do it, she did not know but she believed that God would show up and manifest His power. She knew that God makes special provision for special needs. When God gives you a vision, He makes provision for the vision. She believed that God is able to overrule circumstances. Her reverence for God was greater than her fear of man. Jochebed means The Glory of Jehovah, or God is Glorified, and God indeed glorified and proved Himself in her life concerning her son Moses.

May the God of all grace show up for you, even as He showed up on behalf of Moses. May He glorify Himself in your life and your situation.

Brethren of all people to find Moses, it just had to be the daughter of his enemy seeking his life, for the bible says when Pharaoh’s daughter opened the basket that held Moses she said ‘this is one of the Hebrew children and she had compassion on him , May the grace of God never let you fall in Jesus name.

Brethren the excelling in multiple grace from this story is when Miriam the sister of Moses showed up and suggested to Pharaoh’s daughter, ‘Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women that she may nurse the child for thee?.

And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go and the maid went and called the child’s mother.

And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, take this child away and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child and nursed it’.

Not only did the God of all grace deliver her son but she was going to be paid by her enemy to look after her own son.

Let somebody shout a Glorious Hallelujah to The God of all Grace, Excellent Jehovah, The Almighty God, The Loving Father who is always mindful of us, The Man of War that has never lost any battle and he will never lose any battle. He is never tired of being faithful because He can’t deny Himself. The God that rules in the affairs of man. He sits in heaven and doeth as He pleases, no one can question Him. May that same God show up for you in Jesus name.
