Text – 2 Chronicles 18:28-31 – So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead. 29 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle. 30 Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel. 31 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.
According to history and the scripture, King Jehoshaphat was the fourth king of Judah under the divided monarchy, He is the son of Asa he became the King of Judah at the age of 35 and reigned for 25 years after the death of his Father King Asa.
“The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David before him. He refused to consult the gods of Baals like is Father King Asa
The Bible testify to it in : 2 Chronicles 18:1 – Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance, and joined affinity with Ahab.
Jehoshaphat made peace with almost all the city around him including Israel under the reign of King Ahab, Jehoshaphat apparently tried to reach out to Ahab, the king of Israel. But Ahab was one of the wickedest kings of Israel, – 2 Chronicles 18;1-27
So we know who King Jehoshaphat was and King Ahab.
Now can we go back to 2 Chronicles 18:31 – And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him, and God moved them to depart from him.
I have titled the word of God that i bring to you this lovely morning as “Cried out, and the Lord will help you.
I prayed that this year 2021 the Almighty God will help you when you call him or even when you cried out to Him IJN
The time of trouble or challenge is not a time to be depressed or murmuring or to be quiet, and expecting God to intervene. Your Mouth is your address, cry out, the Lord Almighty will not ignore your cry He will answer you and come to your aid
For example in; Luke 18:35-43 – And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. 37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
The Blind Bartimeaus was blind from birth but when he cried unto Jesus Christ the Almighty heard his cry he regained his sight back.
This Month and beyond Jesus Christ shall stand still when you call unto him and help you immediately in Thy Mighty name of Jesus Christ
He will heal you of whatever that is not right in your body system In thy mighty name of Jesus
May thy Almighty God perform a miracle in your life so that His name will be praised in your life IJN,
In;
Exodus 17:3-4 – And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? 4 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me
Moses told the children of Israel to stand still hold their peace. But when God came he said there must be movement.
When you find yourself in the midst of the enemy, take action. Raised your voice to the Lord and He will help you
The story of Jehoshaphat is an interesting one and that tells us how good our heavenly Father God is. Jehoshaphat was not expected to join the king of Israel in that adventure it wasn’t is war and King Ahab was even an idol worshipper. So He joined himself to an ungodly man. The trouble he had seems like self-inflicted, yet he cried out and God helped and moved the enemy to depart from him.
Today I pray that the enemy will depart from you in Jesus name.
Thy Almighty God will have mercy on you and save you out of any self-created problems you find yourself IJN.
In;
Isaiah 50:7 – For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
Thy Almighty God will help you this month beyond your imagination when you call on him in thy mighty name of Jesus Christ
He will not put you into shame IJN
Thy almighty God will help you IJN
Never make a man your helper. Let God choose people he will send to you. That is when you will not be disappointed. Man is limited in capacity but Our God is unlimited. Many may have the means to help you or in a position to help you but they will not be willing to help. but our God is always willing to help when we call on him and he hears our voice.
The book of Psalms 54:4 says Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
Let the Lord be your helper. Set Your heart towards him, and direct your voice to him, he will not let you down in thy Mighty Name Of Jesus Christ.
The Prophet in the house as declared that this month is our month of Divine restarting and remaking. And he defined as to start again or a new and to make again or anew
To start again or make a new this month we need to;
- Call onto our God for help – Jehoshaphat called on to the lord and the lord save his life for a new beginning in
2 Chronicles 18:31 – And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.
The Blind Bartimeaus cried onto Jesus
Luke 18:38- And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
His eyes were restored and am very sure that a became a new man that day.
- You must enquire from thy Lord
2 Chronicles 18:4 – And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD today.
And finally
- You must be in good relationship with God before you can call onto him for help you need to surrender all to him you need to be in harmony with him
So if you want the Lord to make you a new being and do a new thing in your life this month you need to be right with Him and for Him to answer you when you call him.
You need to be a child of God. God has to be your Father and you need to be his son so you have to accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. He was sent by the Father to come and die for our sins.
If you are hearing my voice now and you have not given your life to Jesus I employ you to do this afternoon or any time of the day that you are watching it online to give your life to Jesus Christ right now tomorrow might be too late and is the best decision that you will ever have made because your life will not be the same again in Thy Mighty Name of Jesus.
Give Your Life to Jesus and cried unto him He will Answer You.
