Science and Medicine have tried in the area of medical intervention for the lives of mankind and other mammals, such that those who are clinically dead can be assisted to live again. They can be resuscitated or revived in a sense.
There is however an extent to which a human life or other mammals life might have progressed into the journey of death, to which science and medicine become helpless and useless to them. When biological death sets in, only the power of Divine assistance or intervention can reverse the downward trend of decay and the loss of matter.
The bible tells us how Jesus raised the dead daughter of Jairus back to life. The girl was gravely ill, so her father went looking for Jesus. Jairus was fortunate as Jesus was not far away at the time. So, he asked Jesus for Divine intervention. Jesus agreed to go with him.
As they were going, the woman who had the issue of blood for 12 years miraculous healing delayed them on the way. Such that when they got close to Jairus house, message came to Jairus not to disturb Jesus again, as his daughter had now died.
Jesus overheard this conversation and encouraged Jairus to have faith and not become afraid. On getting to Jairus house, Jesus asked the mourners and sympathisers why they were crying as the girl was not dead but asleep. He then ushered them to go out.
Jesus went in the room where the dead girl was laid with three of his disciples (Peter, James and John) together with the girl’s parents. He commanded the dead girl to arise and she got up. She began to walk around. Jesus asked that she should be give food to eat, and that they should keep the miracle to themselves.
Those who witnessed the miracle were astonished. But a number of people might have thought the girl might have just fainted, or even asleep as Jesus said, and not dead. At worst, they might have thought that the girl had just experienced a clinical death (Mark 5:21-43).
On another occasion, a friend of Jesus called Lazarus living in Bethany also became ill. His sisters (Mary and Martha) sent messengers to Jesus to quickly come and pray for Lazarus, but Jesus delayed his going to them. By the time Jesus decided to go to Bethany, Lazarus had not only died. He had been buried for four days. This had gone pass a clinical death, it had progressed into a biological death and further decomposition.
By the Divine authority at Jesus disposal as The Way, The Truth and The Life, and as The Resurrection and The Life, Jesus commanded Lazarus to come out from the grave. He instructed the people around to remove the grave cloths binding Lazarus, and thereby rendered him free to live once more. This particular resurrection was a notable miracle that no one could deny or talk down, as Lazarus corpse had started to rot (John 11: 1-46).
The Almighty God has laid in my heart that He will grant us assistance for notable resurrections in this month and beyond. He will bless us with undeniable revivals henceforth. Not only will things that might be ‘dying’ will be given new life, things that might have been ‘considered dead’ will be brought back to life.
He said that those who now mourn because of any loss will yet laugh again.
That our genuine sympathisers will be astonished by the miraculous turnaround of our circumstances.
That our fake sympathisers and those who pretend to show compassion on us will be silenced in awe and shame.
God says He will reverse what has seemed irreversible to us.
What we might have deemed rotten and stinking will yet again thrive.
God will do for us what no one will be able to deny or played down.
He will perform in our lives astounding developments.
Any fetters holding us down will be loosened by fire.
Any portion of ours been held in any grave or coven shall forcefully come forth. Any evil garment used to cover our destiny and glory shall be set ablaze.
Individuals in our midst will enjoy Divine assistance for notable resurrections. Family units in our midst will obtain Divine assistance for notable resurrections. Everlasting Father’s Assembly as a whole will receive Divine assistance for notable resurrections. May the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead do these and more for us in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
