There Will Be None Like You Before, by Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

There Will Be None Like You Before, by Pastor Samuel Obafaiye

One thing that is common to man is to succeed or become successful. While some possess the necessary backgrounds or acquire the skill to be successful, to others it can only be by the supernatural power of God. I have come to announce to someone what God has desire for them.

Many a times we think less of ourselves, just like Gideon was met by the Angel and called mighty man of valour. He didn’t think so of himself. So, I am asked by God to tell someone that “you are bigger than your past”. I hope the person understands.

In Psalm 75:6, David actually said elevation comes from God. It is either He allows it or make it to happen.

Psalms 75:6  – For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.

The same confession was reiterated by Hannah in I Sam. 2:6-8.

1 Samuel 2:6-8 – The Lord kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up. The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts. He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and on them he has set the world.

The word of God I received as I was preparing this message of today is that there is someone that is hearing me now, God is going to promote you to the extent that there will be no one related to you that has risen to where He will take you to.

  • God will bring good things that appeared dead in your life to come back to life.

  • You are at the bottom of the ladder now, but God will lift you up.

  • You may be struggling with money now, but God will make you wealthy.

  • You might be occupying the low strata in the society, but God will elevate you.

  • You may be among the needy people of the community now, very soon you shall seat with princes. God will make people reserve seats of honour for you.

  • The God that has set the world upon pillars, He will set you upon the world.

This is not because of what you have done to merit this, but the favour of God. God can choose anyone He desires to live a life of favour and allow their glory to rise. He did it for the Israelites through His friend – Abraham.

Genesis 15:18-21 – On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates, the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites.”

Abraham left a nation; he was given the possession of 10 nations.

  • You are asking for one thing, God says, He will give you 10 portions.

Why would God chase away ten nations for another one which is yet to be? The answer is favour.

Deuteronomy 7:6-8 – “For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, but it is because the Lord loves you and is keeping the oath that he swore to your fathers, that the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

  • There is someone here, God promised your father something, it hasn’t quite worked out the way it should be, God says He will fulfil it in your days.

The Israelites are a set of people specially favoured by God:

  • Many of the time they sinned, God will punish them, but never cast them out.

  • Jesus the Saviour of the world came from them.

  • Jesus is the way, truth and life. No man comes to the Father except through Him. God will however put a seal of redemption upon 144,000 Jews because of Abraham.

  • Jesus will descend on Mount Olivet at His return.

  • Christ will make His headquarters in Jerusalem.

  • The whole world will declare war on the nation of Israel during the Great Tribulation, Jesus a Himself will come to rescue them.

We are Israelites grafted by faith in Jesus Christ. This is a life of favour.

John 6:44 – No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

Thank God for drawing us closer to Himself.

1 Peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

  • May the glory of God be seen upon you in Jesus name.

Solomon is one of the people in the bible that lived a life of favour and his glory rose greatly.

  • His mother – Bathsheba was wrongfully taken from Uriah by David, because of that the baby that came from that act died as a punishment.

  • The subsequent children from Bathsheba could have died also, but God preserved Solomon.

  • Solomon was not only preserved, but was said to be loved by God. (2 Samuel 12:24).

  • God did not only love him, but gave him a name. (2 Samuel 12:25).

  • How was it that it was Solomon that would seat on the throne after David? Was Bathsheba qualified to raise the heir after the messy affair with David? She was not also the first wife.

  • Solomon was not the first son either – Among the 20 sons of David mentioned in the bible, he was not among the first nine.

  • He was the one God allowed to build the first proper temple unto His name, apart from the makeshift tent of Moses in the wilderness.

  • He happened to be in the linage of Jesus.

  • He ruled for forty years.

  • His reign was without wars.

  • His reign marked the peak of Israel as a nation. The widest extent of the kingdom.

  • Throughout history, it’s rare to find someone whom God told to ask anything and He would do it.

  • In life, one rarely has everything. Solomon however had more than what he wanted.

  • God said no one before him would be like him and none after him would be like him.

  • God rarely appear to man, but God appeared to him thrice: Gibeon, at the dedication of temple, and to warn him of disobedience.

  • Even when he sinned, his punishment was to come after him and not to be in full. The kingdom will be taken, only after him and two tribes reserved because of David.

God has the same favour put together for someone here.

  • The destruction that befell your mates, your clan or your sibling is not your portion.

  • God will not only preserve you, but He will show you His love.

  • Our parents gave us name, but God has names for us as well. May God give you a great name.

  • You are not the firstborn, but God will fast track your position to the front.

  • God will not reject your sacrifice.

  • Your seed shall be great.

  • You will not die young.

  • Your reign shall last forever.

  • May God not hide Himself from you.

  • None before you will be like you.

  • May God give you more than what you have asked.

  • Even when you make mistakes, may the mercies of God uphold you still.

  • There is something be here, in your father and mother side, none will be like you.

  • In your clan and your kindred, there will be none like you.

  • May God give you wisdom, understanding heart, wealth, honour, long life, peace, rest, fruitfulness and life of your enemies. He will also be a father to you.

  • God says He will increase your ranking.

  • He will grant you exemplary living and lifestyle. A life that is superior to the norm.

There were many mighty prophets before the birth of Jesus. When Jesus came, some thought He was just a prophet too, but they later found out that the authority Jesus uses to teach was higher than the prophets before Him. He was more than a prophet.

  • Those who thought you are common will soon know that you are uncommon specie of God. Your kind will be scarce.

Prayers

From my ancestors to date, let none be higher than me.

Among my clan and family, let your favour distinguish me as the best.

Among my peers, let me stand out as unmatchable.

In all your dealings with man, let mine be exceptionally favourable.
