Prevail means to prove more powerful or superior, win, win out, win through, be victorious, be the victor, triumph, gain the victory, carry the day, finish first, come on top, succeed, conquer, and overcome.

Whenever soldiers go to war, there is usually an allowance for casualty. The percentage of which should be very minimal. The commanding officer only gets to be queried of faced disciplinary action if his troop suffers a certain percentage of casualties above the norm.

We have been enlisted into the Army of God. Jesus is our commander. He has never suffered loss. Except those who stray from Him.

John 17:12

While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

You will never sustain casualty in Jesus name.

In II Chro. 20:1-30, the bible says that three nations came to war against Judah under Jehoshaphat. They were outnumbered greatly. Jehoshaphat was disturbed. He ran to God for help. God told him to set his people against the nations as if to fight, but they will not need to engage the enemy, as God Himself will do the combat.

They were to put singers first before soldiers. As they were praising God, the nations began to kill one another! Judah did not sustain any casualty as they did not need to fight.

May you prevail over whatever has gathered against you.

You may be little and have been confronted with great enemies, you will surely overcome.

May those that have gathered against you help to eliminate one another.

– You are faced with three issues, not knowing what to solve first. God says you will prevail over all of them.

In 2 Chro. 32:1-22, the bible says King Hezekiah revolted against the greatest terrorist of the Eurasia region, Sennacherib King of Assyria which was an act of faith. But when Sennacherib declared war of Judah, Hezekiah became fearful.

Sennacherib was a terrible destroyer, every nation he fought were turned to rubbles and ruins. Hezekiah and all the people with him were greatly distressed. He cried to God for help. God promised that Sennacherib would not fire an arrow into Judah.

So it happened that at a particular night, an angel of God went through the camp of Assyria and killed 185,000 soldiers! When Sennacherib woke up in the morning, it was dead bodies everywhere. He ran away and was later killed by his own sons.

Again, Judah did no sustain any casualty as they did not fight.

What is that Sennacherib that has risen against your life?

You have been gentle with it and it has not gone.

You have spent money and time on it and it has not gone.

Today, God will send an angel against it. It will lose its venom from you in Jesus name.

The mouth of Sennacherib’s spokesmen were very sharp and blasphemous before, but became silent in the grave.

May God seal the mouth of the ‘Rabshakehs’ against your life. May they eat up their boasts in Jesus name.

– Someone has vowed to deal with you, giving you specific examples of those he/she has dealt with before. They will not succeed in your case.
