The Worship That Triggers Unimaginable Progress, by Pastor Samuel Obafaiye
Unimaginable progress can only come from God. That is why it is unimaginable. There are few things that can trigger or activate such unimaginable progress.
Four of which are:
– Absolute obedience, especially under tough circumstances (Abraham to sacrifice Isaac).
– Sacrificial offerings, giving that are not normal (Solomon, Woman of alabaster Ointment).
– Rare favour (Mary the mother of Jesus)
– Worship that touches the heart of God (Jehoshaphat)…..
What sort of worship can trigger unimaginable progress?
In Acts 16:16-28, the bible tells us that Paul and Silas were thrown into an inner prison in Thyatira, with their feet fasten to stocks. Their offence was that they had healed a young lady of the spirit of divination. Their final punishment could have been death.
In their tough time, they began to pray and sing praises to God, God sent an earthquake that shook the prison foundations; their bands were loosed; the prison doors were swung opened. ….
What was special about their worship?
– They combined their praises with prayers to God.
– They sang in such a way that they were heard.
– They did not let their condition affect their praises to God (their worship was therefore truthful and in spirit, not in flesh).
– They would have probably jumped and danced; but their feet were stuck in wood.
We shall go into another session of praises and worship to God for another 45 minutes or so. I want to charge you to sing out audibly to God and forget any negative situation you might be in for now. If you have feet, dance and jump to your Maker.
Before then, I have prepared a psalm of prayer we shall say unto God:
– On the 15th day of the 1st Month of the year 2017, RCCG EVERLASTING FATHER’S ASSEMBLY, LEEDS set aside a time to praise the Almighty God;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– They gathered in the Temple called The Land of Mercy to praise the Living and the True God;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– Their Men and their Women, their Elders and their Youths, their Teenagers and their Children, they all came to worship God, their Maker;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– They prayed, they sang hymn, rendered worship and say praises to the God of gods;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– They were led by their worship team and by invited gospel artistes to sing and say;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– They sang with their voices and with all manners of instruments to declare and say;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– They sang with drums, with stringed instruments of lead and bass, with organs, saxophone, Percussions, cymbals, shakers and clapping to the King of kings;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– Then The Lord echoes from His holy hills and say He will surprise them with unimaginable progress and sweet surprises in their years;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
– Let every soul that has breath in EVERLASTING FATHER’S ASSEMBLY, LEEDS say;
For The Lord is good and His mercies endures forever.
