May 2015 Theme: Excelling in Multiple Grace

In Christianity, grace is a Divine favour bestowed freely on people as in granting redemption from sin; or an excellent power granted by God.

God can bestow different kinds of His grace to different people at varying levels. So that someone that has grace in a particular area of their life may yet be trusting God for His grace in another area. Also, two people with the grace of God in same area may be operating at different levels of power.

In 2 Corinthians 8:1-7, Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth regarding a special grace they lacked, the grace of giving. He commended them as touching their grace of faith, utterance, knowledge, help and love to the saints, but that they needed to abound in the grace of giving also.

Apostle Paul gave them an example of the church at Macedonia, that though they were not as wealthy, but they were sacrificial givers. They gave their time, energy and money sacrificially. He therefore sent Titus whom The Lord used to initiate this particular grace to Corinth in order that they too might receive the grace of giving also.

In 3 John 1:2, God assured believers that He is not only interested in our grace of salvation, but also of good health and prosperity.

It is in the light of this, that God is promising us in Everlasting Father’s Assembly that from this month and onwards, He will grant us the power to excel in other areas, apart from those grace we now enjoy. He will bless us with the grace to demonstrate faith; utterance; knowledge; eagerness to serve; love for the brethren; sacrificial giving; prosperity; Divine health; boldness; etc. May these grace touch every one of us in Jesus name.
