Text: 2 Corithian 8:9
The God that we serve is able to do anything. He is able to fix all things. He can solve any problem and resolve any situation. He can meet any need. He can change anybody. He can bring something out of nothing. He calleth those things which be not as though they were. God can change your situation and solve all your problems. He can change your story. He can turn your life around for good.
I have come to accept the truth that there is nothing impossible with God. With God, all things are possible. I have seen God do amazing things. He can turn a nobody to an important person in 24 hours. There is a lady in our Parish who had been married for over 20 years without a baby. The doctors said her womb is flat and can never carry a baby. Last year, God visited her and gave her a boy called Samuel
God is alive. May He grant you a 24 hour miracle in Jesus name. May He do something that is profound in your life in Jesus name. God is able to make all grace abound towards you. There is what is called ‘all grace’. The grace of God is the enabling power that is put upon a man to enable him succeeds in the things that he does, so that he can fulfil the purpose for which God has created him. There is grace for every sphere of life, so that someone can have grace in health but not in wealth. Someone else can have grace in education and not in career. So, though with a fantastic result, but no job. Some are blessed with good marriage but struggled to have children. Another person may have fantastic ideas but no financial power to turn it to a successful business. However, the bible says God can make all grace sufficiently abound towards you. This means, you can have God’s grace in great measure, in an overflowing manner.
How one fare in life is determined by the level of grace we carry. There are people in life that can never go past a certain level no matter how hard they work, because the amount of grace that are able to attract in their lives has limited them. Grace is a limiting factor. The grace of God upon your life subjects you to a certain level. Paul was who he was because of the grace of God he had. Jesus had grace above measure, that is why He could walked on water; call the dead to come forth; spoke to fig tree; addressed wind and sea; etc.
Why would God says He is able to make all grace abound unto you? This is because there is a level that God wants you to step into. With this level, you ought to have all things, always, sufficiently. It is that place where you can meet any need, any time.
Note that the scripture says God is able to make all grace abound towards you and not that God will make all grace abound towards you. This is because as touching human affairs, a lot of what God will do is dependent on us and not Him. He said ‘if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land’. God can make you prosperous anywise, but it is up to you.
I have seen in Church some people that their circumstances may never change, not because God has cursed them or destined them to remain where they are, but because they have made up their minds not to rise. There is also no man of God that can be more anointed than God. If God does not change a man’s life, no one could do it. No amount of laying of hands will change the situation. God is Sovereign; He sits on the throne in heaven and does what He pleases on earth. He is the only one that brings down and lifts up.
If God is going to change your life, He will check if you are willing. Four things can attract the abundance grace of God upon your life. Two of them are:
Pray to God to grant you understanding to know what He wants you to do at every given point and to also give you the heart to obey God. It is a tragedy for a believer not to hear from God at all; it is also a self-destruct to know what God wants you to do and not obey His instruction.in Isaiah 48:17, the bible says that God wants to lead us in the way that will cause us to profit. You can’t try and figure out how He will do it. We must learn to trust God because He will never make us to do what will bring shame to us.
Do good works. This is one of the reasons why God will make all grace abound unto you in an abundance and sufficient manner. If you need God to do more things in your life, then you must do something with what you have today. If you desire the sufficient grace of God in your finance, then you must come to a place where your finances will do good works. The more He finds you faithful in good works, the more He can equip you with necessary resources for you to do more.
