There are different levels of lights which are dependent upon the source. The effectiveness of any light is dependent on the power of the source it emanates from.
1 Corinthians 15:41
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
I remember as a child, when my father would send us to go and buy light bulbs. He would repeatedly warn us to check the watts written on them. We must not bring back a 30 watts, this is because the effectiveness of the 30 watts bulb is very low. He calls it dullish light. It must be 100watts for external lights and 60watts for indoor ones.
May your light not become dull in Jesus name.
In Gen. 1:14-19, on the fourth day of creation, God made the two great lights: Sun and Moon. He also made the Stars. The Sun He called the bigger light and the Moon the smaller. No wonder the physical effect of the Sun is greater on the universe more than any other light.
May you enjoy the higher working of the Living God in Jesus name.
Prior to this though, on the 1st day of creation, God made Light to divide day from night. This Light is the brightness, the brilliance and the radiance of God that supersede even the rays from sunlight (Gen. 1:3-5).
May God put His brightness upon your life.
May the super brilliance of God be seen upon your life.
In Geography, we are told that the ray of the Sun is very powerful. Its surface temperature is close to 6000oC. It’s so powerful that none can mess around it, otherwise they’ll get burnt. I pray that no one will mess around your life in Jesus name.
Bishop Oyedepo in one of his book I read said after he read Kenneth Hagin’s book ‘The Believer’s Authority’, in the next programme he did, he challenge the witches to come out. Surprisingly, some came out. So he asked them what they do when people like him are approaching. The witches said they will clear from the way. This is because the light of God protects His own. May God surround you with His light that can’t be approach by any kind of spirit or being in Jesus name.
Some of us are carrying 5watts around, for not getting close to God. With that demons will slap you and run away. May God increase your watts. May your spiritual voltage increase in Jesus name.
Geography even said that the radiance of the Moon is a reflection of the light from the Sun. The good news is we can each be a Moon to the Most High. A reflector of the Sun of God.
The bible talks about Jesus as a powerful Sun which rays will be like furnace. But the same rays will make us well and healthy.
Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
May we be a reflector of that Sun in Jesus name.
Just like the Moon reflect the radiance of the Sun; it is possible to reflect the sun rays of the Living God.
Another name of God’s sunshine is His glory. In biblical times, one of the people that reflected the glory of God is Moses.
In Exodus 34:29-36, we read how the face of Moses shone like a bright moon. He first stood in the intense rays of God for forty days and nights, the result is that his countenance became transformed.
May you enter the concentration of the sunshine of the Almighty.
May your countenance reflect the glory of God in Jesus name.
We fast for spiritual elevation. However, fasting on its own does not improve the appearance of a man. It is the dwelling in the sunshine of God that brings a change. As a matter of fact, fasting makes one look lean, bony and emaciated. Regardless of that though, God can still make us look radiant, special, brilliant and beaming. May that be your portion in Jesus name.
Moses did not know that his face was shining. He would just see that people were running away from him or covering their eyes. What an experience! May God make us what Moses was to our generation of today in Jesus name.
About nine years ago, I was ministering at our mother church in Bradford. There was nothing I did special other than what I normally do. I normally study well and just preached.
At the end of the service, an elderly couple who were occasional visitors at the time came up to me and said “Sir, I don’t know if you are aware, but fire was coming out of your mouth as you speak”!. They were already lay preachers in their church, but after that incidence they immediately joined our fellowship and became consistent members.
The funny thing was I didn’t see any fire, just as I’m talking now.
Many of us carry the sunshine of God about unknowingly. The problem is if we are ignorant of it, we can easily abuse, underuse or misuse it.
May the fire of God make a distinction to your life in Jesus name.
Moses was determined to see the face of God, so he had to fast as he approached and dwelt in the presence of God. This season, many of us are fasting or have fasted to seek God’s face. I pray that God will reveal His glory to us in Jesus name.
The sunshine of God is also His presence. As the Israelites left Egypt, God began to lead them with His presence in the form of pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. Sadly, when they misbehaved, God said an angel will continue with them. God was about to withdraw His sunshine from them, that could have meant disaster.
Moses however prayed to God and God changed His mind because of His favour upon Moses life (Exodus 33:12-19). So, God’s presence continued with them.
May the presence of God always go with you.
May the pillar of cloud be with you by day and the pillar of fire by night.
The sunshine of God is also His power.
In Acts 12:1-12, God demonstrated the power of His sunshine for Peter. He was to be executed in the morning by wicked Herod. God shone His light in the cell and deliverance came for Peter.
Someone deliverance has just been effected by God.
I declare the freedom of anyone under the influence of Satan right now.
I loose anyone under the captive of sin, world, flesh and demons in Jesus name.
May every spiritual, physical or figurative chain holding anyone be broken right now in Jesus name.
No Herod will hold you captive any longer.
No soldier will tie you down again.
May all the Warders of life assigned to watch you fall asleep till you have gone in Jesus name.

Father, demonstrate your sunshine glory upon my life.
Father, demonstrate your sunshine presence throughout my journey in life.
Father, demonstrate your sunshine power on my behalf in Jesus name.
