Loose Him And Let Him Go! by Pastor (Mrs) Anthonia Obafaiye

The Theme of the month of April 2017 is Amazing Ascension as spoken by God through His Prophet and I perceive in my spirit that God is setting someone here free in Jesus name. The Bible says in the BK of John 8: 36 that whosoever the Son of man sets free is free indeed.

The Bible yet again says in the Book of Isaiah 49: 24- 25 that even the lawful captives, The Lord sets free, so in other words there is nothing too difficult for our God who sits in heaven and does as He pleases to do. With Him all things are possible.

The month of April is the 4th month of the year, on the fourth day of creation, the physical universe was completed. I believe the number 4 is derived from its place in creation because the physical universe was established and set in motion on the 4th day of the creation week.

4 is a number of completions and I decree that The Good Lord will perfect and complete all that concerns you in Jesus name.

The Bible makes us to understand that on the 3rd day after Jesus death, (on a Sunday like this) over 2000 years ago, that Jesus the Son of The Most High God rose from the dead and He is alive And reigns forever more. He is the Resurrection and Life and the Bible says whomsoever believes in Him will have life and have it in abundance.

Our main Bible passage will be taken from the Book of John 11: 1- 46

The Bible makes us to understand that there was a family that our Lord Jesus loved so much Mary (The Bk of Matt. 26: 7-13) this was the lady with the alabaster of expensive ointment that anointed Jesus with this ointment and wiped our Lord’s feet with her tears and hair) and Jesus Himself testified that wherever the gospel is preached that she will be remembered for this thing she did and this was the first woman to also see Jesus after he had resurrected, Martha and Lazarus.

It came to pass that Lazarus one day, fell sick and a message was sent unto Jesus by his sisters that the one He loved was sick and when Jesus heard this he said ‘This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

So Brethren when we find ourselves in some situations that we begin to wonder, Oh whom have I offended, why am I passing through this, ah this is too much for me to bear, has it ever occurred to us that maybe God wants to glorify Himself through that situation.

The Bible yet again made us to understand that Jesus abode two days in the same place where he was, sometimes we desire that The Lord should answer us now, not knowing that God’s time is the best and that He makes everything beautiful in His own time.

And when Jesus got to Bethany He found out that Lazarus had been in the grave for four days.

Humanly speaking all hope was lost for Lazarus, he would have been stinking, rigor Morris would have set in (stiffening of the muscles & joints of a body few hours after date, usually lasting from one to four days) His sisters had accepted their fate, for them they thought the battle was over, they had believed in their hearts that they will see their Brother on the Resurrection morning. But divinely speaking the battle had just begun because it is not yet over until God says it is over. Jesus is our only Hope of Glory, with Him all things are possible, He is the Resurrection and Life, He is the Rock that can never fail. When He says Yes no one can say No. When He opens the Door no one can shut.

The Bible says in the Bk of Hebrews 4: 15

For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

The Bible says that when Jesus saw Mary, Martha and Jews weeping He was moved with compassion and He also wept and groaned in the spirit and was troubled and He asked where they had laid him and they took Him to Lazarus’s grave.

And the Bible makes us to believe that when death met with the one that created it, death bowed to his creator.

I prophesy to someone here that whatsoever seems dead in your life or is about to die in your life receives the life of Jesus now in Jesus name. I decree that whatsoever situation that seems hopeless in your life, so much so that people around you have written you off and have begun to say where is the God that you serve, will receives the life of Jesus today in Jesus name. I have come to announce to someone here today that Jesus is your only Hope of Glory and he died so that ye might have life and have it in abundance, He became poor so that ye might be rich, He paid the price that no one else could pay over you and I.

The Bible says that Jesus cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth and he that was dead came forth bound hand and foot with grave clothes and his face was bound with a napkin. Jesus said unto them, “Loose him and let him go”!.

How do you explain this miracle, a man dead and buried for four days (The Bible says his sister Martha said Lord by this time he stinketh), he was bound hand and foot, yet he came forth alive. Our God is a glorious God, He is a miracle Worker, there is no searching to His understanding indeed.

Brethren the Bible makes us to understand in the BK of Ezekiel 37: 1- 14 that Prophet Ezekiel was taken in the spirit by God Almighty to the Valley of dry bones and after a demonstration of God’s power the dry bones became an exceeding Great Army after God breathed the Breath of life over them.

May our Father in heaven breathe over you and I His goodness, mercy and favour afresh in Jesus name.

Prayers:

Father as you rose from the dead on the 3rd Day; may everything that is dead or about to die in my life rise to the life in you in Jesus name.

Father whatsoever that seems to be harassing me, Father harass them in Jesus name. You said in your word that you will contend with those that contend with me. You said on my behalf you will arise and fight for me and my enemies will be scattered. Father arise and favour me in this season and beyond in Jesus name.
